We held a Japan-Korea international symposium, “Local Business Innovations: The Roles of Universities and Industry-Academia Collaboration”
On Wednesday, December 29, 2021, SMEs Knowledge Network Center and Hanbat University (Korea) jointly held a Japan-Korea international symposium titled “Local Business Innovations: The Roles of Universities and Industry-Academia Collaboration” in a hybrid style (both on-site in Hanbat University and online.) Approximately 30 people attended the event.
The symposium focused on the topic of “regional revitalization.” After the greeting of the President of Hanbat University that marked the start of the international symposium, Part One featured presentations and discussions by researchers from both universities, and Part Two featured a session to explore the possibility of a joint research and deepen the collaboration between both universities. From Niigata University, Associate Professor KISHI Yasuyuki, Specially Appointed Professor LEE Gunyung, and Associate Professor ARIMOTO Satoshi gave presentations, and Associate Professor NAKAHIGASHI Masaki and Associate Professor ITO Ryoji participated in discussions.
